Can Lleter is a very old country house, documented since the XVII century, with the inside completely renovated. The name of the house comes from very far back. One fine day Josep Maso and his father went to Santander to look for dairy cows, and became the first of the region to have this breed of cattle. Josep’s mother distributed milk around the houses with a rural carriage. This was when “Mas Teixidor” became Can Lleter.
The rooms in the house have conserved there names of this country house and it´s uses, the barn (graner), room of the oats (civada), young servants chamber (mosso) the room of aunt Teresa and the grandparents (avis). The dining room is in the old warehouse and the kitchen is in the hen house.

Can Lleter has a privileged location. It is very close to the city of Girona and has great communication routes close by. With all of these services in reach it still enjoys a calm and natural surrounding. It is located a 2 km away from the famous lake l´Estany de Banyoles and is also very well located for doing many other excursions within the area and further afield, like and the Figueres, Cadaques and the Costa Brava, or the volcanic area of Garrotxa.In the same day you could also reach Setcases or the Valley of Nuria (Vall de Nuria) all the above are within 100km
